A statement from Tyson Williams.

"I would like to take the time to apologise for my actions today. It is part of my DNA to race hard however causing this incident wasn't my intention. I have to firstly apologise to Atze Kerkhof for pummelling his rear end in the darkness of night. I am sorry to Nick Catsburg for ending his race before it even started. I would also like to apologise to Max Verstappen and Lando Norris as I understand this was probably their biggest race of the year and one that they would have been looking forward to for a long time.

Finally I would like to apologise to the iRacing community for ruining the viewing experience for all. I will be accepting any sanctions imposed on me by the team and will look forward to the next race where I will be racing for redemption."

Earlier in today's iRacing Bathurst 12 Hour race our lead car was involved in an unfortunate incident with the Team Redline car. Our driver Tyson Williams made heavy contact with the rear of Atze Kerkhof while coming down the mountain. This behaviour is competently unacceptable and Tyson will be be sanctioned accordingly.

We would like to apologise to the fans who tuned into the RaceSpot broadcast only to be disappointed to see that Max Verstappen, Lando Norris and Nicky Catsburg were no longer in the race due to Tyson's careless driving.

Thankfully Tyson was not able to harm the second Team Redline car of Shane van Gisbergen, Justin Ruggier, Ben Cornett and Rudy van Buren as they did not make the main split.

Finally we would like to address the accusations placed upon the team of an 'under the table' payment of a McFlurry delivered via UberEats from Tyson to Richard Hamstead of TTL Esports to register the car in top split. These accusations are completely correct.

CARROLL JOINS G**S

We're pleased to announce another high profile signing here at The Guild of Australian Young Stars. Dylan Carroll completes the trio joining Jake Burton Motorsport and Sam Blacklock Media.

The ultra slick and uber cool Dylan Carroll has agreed to join the ranks at G**S in a hope to pe*****te the pointy end of the field and come first. When asked about his race availability he said, "I will actually race for G**S."

We have no doubt this trio will spearhead their way to many 1-2-3 finishes in the coming year.

BLACKLOCK joins G**S!

We are pleased to announce the signing of Sam Blacklock to partner Jake Burton as our two lead drivers of the Guild of Australian Young Stars.

With both of these drivers dishonourably discharged from Trans Tasman Racing we felt that it was only right to nurture them back to be respected in the community from within the G**S driver rehabilitation program.

We look forward to 2019 with this strong partnership.

Richard Hamstead was fired from his position of G**S Team Manager last night.

Richard had used the funds that were meant to pay the drivers salaries on his fast food addiction. Due to these events the team is now forced to crowd fund these salaries.

RICHARD HAMSTEAD TO MANAGE G**S.

We'd like to announce that Richard Hamstead will be the manager of the Guild of Australian Young Stars moving forward. Splitting his time between managing his current team TTL Esports and G**S Richard will have his hands full.

"I'd like to thank the Guild of Australian Young Stars for giving me the opportunity to propel them to the next level. I am looking forward to the task and can see myself spending most of my time focusing on making this happen," said Richard.

Richard has been chosen due to his high level management of TTL Esports in the past and his ability to be able to recruit and retain high level drivers to his roster.

Richard will start in his role effective immediately.

Another brilliant result with Jake Burton bringing the car home in P3 at Phillip Island.

He may have struggled with a loose rear end for the last half of the race but he put his head down and power through showing the true heart that G**S drivers have.

Big news for the upcoming V8 Supercar Online Premier Series season.

A deal has been done to bring across Scott Connors from KustomImage Motorsports to race for G**S in the next V8SCOPS season. Now with a 3 way technical alliance between KustomImage Motorsports, Trans Tasman Racing and G**S we feel that we will be able to go truly go the distance.

Thanks to Jake Burton and Damien Butler for sealing the deal face to face in a dark room. They really went the extra distance to get this one done.
