Have you ever been told to "breathe" during an exercise, but never really understood why?
In this tutorial, Maja isn't just teaching a chest lift. She's helping us understand how to use breath to manage pressure before we even start moving.
If you've ever leaked when you cough, felt pressure down during exercise, or been told to "engage your core" without really knowing what that means, this is where we start.
Breath isn't something we add to an exercise. It's the foundation.
Once you understand how to manage pressure, everything else becomes easier. You move with more control, your core and pelvic floor can do their job more effectively, and you stop relying on cues that don't actually make sense to you.
This is what you'll experience at Movement Lab and Pilates Lab.
We don't just teach exercises. We teach you how your body works.
You'll never be left wondering why you're doing something. We coach, explain, adjust and help you understand your body so you leave each class feeling more confident than when you walked in.
We're movement nerds, and we love teaching this stuff. But what matters most is helping you feel stronger, more capable and more confident in your own body.
