2026 season recap 🏁

Went into this year wanting to back up the state championship and battle for the national title too. Round 1 and 2 were strong and everything was clicking, felt like we had a genuine shot at both. Then the season turned on us, Winton in the rain didn’t go our way, followed by another rough one down in Sydney, issue after issue, the kind of luck you can’t really do anything about. That was it for the nationals but mathematically we were still hanging onto the state title.

Sandown was the decider. Friday practice we put down the unofficial lap record, a 1:26.2, backed it up Saturday with pole and the win in race 1. Then race 2 the bad luck found us again, dropped a cylinder, fell to 8th and just like that the title was basically gone. Race 3, nothing left to lose, wet track, some of the best drivers in the country, and we won it anyway.

Didn’t walk away with the trophy this year but it was a season that taught us more than a lot of the ones we’ve won. Grateful for the team, the support and everyone who stuck with us through the rough patches. Massive congratulations to Ash for taking out the state title this year, truly deserved and well earned after a great season 👏

Onto the National Challenge and Island Magic, that one we want 👀
