Works are ramping up at Bellambi Point! ππ
Over the next two months the Bellambi Boat Ramp jetty will undergo refurbishment, giving it another 10 years of life. These works include;
β‘οΈ Replacing the jetty deck tiles with Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) panels.
β‘οΈ Building a new jetty entrance concrete access pad.
β‘οΈ Replacing vertical timber fender posts with Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) posts.
β‘οΈ Replacing horizontal timber walers with Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) hollow sections.
β‘οΈ Installing new D-shaped protection rubber on jetty posts.
β‘οΈ Replacing the aluminium handrail on the upper deck level of the jetty.
β‘οΈ Cleaning, repairing or replacing ladders as needed.
β‘οΈ Other minor repairs.
Worry not, while a section of the car park will be fenced off, fishers and boaters will still be able to access the boat ramp and car park during the works.
This important project is supported by grant funding from the NSW Government.
