Our Coal Australia Illawarra Junior League U7’s are Tackle Ready and it’s time to celebrate!

To honour the incredible effort, energy, and enthusiasm shown by the graduating Under 7s from across the region, the NRL, NSWRL, Illawarra, Group 7 and St George Illawarra Dragons are hosting a special event just for them!

⏰ Duration: 1 hour which will include (Graduation & Matches, schedule to come)

🎓 Event: Tackle Ready Graduation

All U7s teams who completed the Tackle Ready program have been invited to an unforgettable day filled with excitement, recognition, and the experience of their first game of Tackle on WIN Stadium

Blues Tag and Open Ladies League Tag games Friday - POSTPONED

Due to the number of grounds unplayable across the round for Tag, and with grounds currently Closed, tonight’s games will be POSTPONED.

Further information will be provided as to if and when these will be re played.

IDRL are in meetings with NSWRL and Group 7 regarding Saturdays games and will provide communication as soon as we can.

Cronulla JRL has advised all Southern Corridor fixtures scheduled for Saturday 30 May are a washout. Sunday fixtures TBA.

Due to the number of unplayable grounds across this round of LeagueTag (BluesTag and OLLT), and with grounds currently closed, tonight’s games have been postponed. Further information regarding if and when these games will be rescheduled will be provided.

Illawarra Rugby League (IRL) and Wollongong City Council (WCC) have been in consultation regarding the TAG games scheduled for Friday night, along with Junior and Senior League games scheduled across the weekend.

Following assessments conducted today (prior to the latest downpour), Council were optimistic given the improved weather conditions experienced yesterday and earlier today.

At this stage, we want to allow as much time as possible for conditions to improve before making any final decisions.

A decision regarding Friday night TAG fixtures will be made by 10:00am Friday morning 29/5.

For Junior and Senior League fixtures scheduled across the weekend, a final decision will be made by 3:00pm Friday 29/5 following further engagement with all stakeholders.
