Our FJFC U15s, who recorded a 10–1 victory over Unanderra on Sunday morning at Ray Robinson, Towradgi.

This is team formed only this year, with many of the players taking the field together for the very first time. They’ve come together brilliantly and are enjoying a fantastic season that everyone at Fernhill is incredibly proud of.

A special mention to coach Martin Cubby, a Fernhill senior player who still pulls on the boots each week for our Over 45s team. Martin is a great example of what our club is all about, bringing players together across all ages and helping build a strong football community.

Well done, boys. Keep up the great work!

Community is bigger than football 💙❤️

On Friday players from our U13’s & U10’s teams swapped their boots for runners and joined local legend Jack Buckley | wannabe runner 🏃‍♂️ for a few laps during his incredible 58-hour run to raise funds for the Stroke Foundation.

It was fantastic to see the kids get behind such an inspiring cause, supporting Jack and showing what being part of a team is all about. While we love our football, moments like these remind us that our club is also about community, teamwork, encouragement, and helping others.

A huge congratulations to Jack on an amazing achievement, and well done to all of our players who got involved and represented the club so proudly.

Stroke is one of Australia’s biggest killers and doesn’t discriminate; it affects anyone, anytime. It claims more lives than breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men. And incredibly, around 600 Australian children experience stroke each year. If you would like to donate you can via the link in Jack Buckley | wannabe runner 🏃‍♂️ bio.

Our two Fernhill U7 Girls teams faced off this weekend. It was a game filled with enthusiasm, teamwork and sportsmanship on display.

These girls give their all every week, working hard on their skills, supporting one another and having plenty of fun along the way.

One of the things that makes Fernhill special is the connection between our junior and senior clubs. With one of our U7 teams coached by senior player, Thomo. It’s a great example of the way our football community comes together. From our youngest players taking their first touches of the ball to those representing Fernhill at senior level, it’s all part of the same club journey and a shared love of the game.

Nothing beats a hearty warm pie after a cold day on the fields.

Every dollar raised from the pie drive will help Fernhill Junior Football Club work towards a huge goal: fully replacing every playing kit across the club by the 2028 season.

It’s a big investment for a club of our size, but we believe our players deserve to look and feel like the champions they are, while keeping registration fees as affordable as possible for families.

We’re calling on our amazing community to help us kick off our 2026 fundraising goals.

While our new balls are a great start, the reality is a lot of our shared equipment is worn out, and many of our playing kits have seen better days.

So this year, we’re launching a big goal:
to replace every playing kit across the entire club by the 2028 season.

It’s a huge investment for a club our size, but one we truly believe our players deserve.

How you can help:
We’re currently seeking raffle prize donations for our 2026 fundraiser.

Things like:
• A voucher from your business
• A service (photography, trade, beauty)
• Or a family hamper (movie night, BBQ, etc.)

Every single donation makes a difference.

Your support helps us:
✔️ Upgrade equipment
✔️ Replace playing kits
✔️ Keep fees affordable for families

If you can contribute, we’d love to DM us.

Woonona Football Club is asking for your support for one of their own. Heba suffered a serious medical emergency on Sunday 26 April while playing for Woonona O30 ladies at Ocean Park. Despite all efforts, she has not responded to treatment and remains in an induced coma. Doctors have indicated she may not regain consciousness.

Right now, her family is facing an incredibly difficult time and needs the support of our club.

If you’re able to help, please consider donating and sharing the link with your teams:
