"What are you and Ken doing Barbie?"
Barbie: "We are practising Separating the Clouds from the Shibashi 1 set because Tai Chi & Qigong is resuming this week for Term 3/2025 and we want to make sure we remember it.
"When are the classes Barbie?"
Barbie: "In Corowa they are 9.30am and 6.00pm on Wednesdays but these are more for people who have already done Tai Chi before. The best class for a beginner is 9.30am on Thursdays. These classes are at the hall next to St. John's Anglican Church in Federation Avenue.
In Albury the class is 6.00pm on Thursdays at the Assembly Hall of the Albury Public School, Smollett Street entrance. This class is suitable for a beginner and if you want to do more advanced forms, a person is welcome to stay after the hour class."
"Let me get this straight Barbie. So Wednesday 23rd July and Thursday 24th July."
Barbie: "Yes that is correct. Classes are only on during NSW School Terms."

Barbie: "It's Australia Day. I am so pleased."
"Why is that Barbie."
Barbie: "It means that Tai Chi & Qigong is nearly ready to resume after the holidays - only 10 days to go for Corowa, and 11 days for Albury."
"What times and dates will that be Barbie."
Barbie: "9.30am and 6.00pm on Wednesday 5th February and 9.30am on Thursday 6th February in Corowa at St. John's Parish Centre, the hall next to St. John's Anglican Church. The Thursday morning class is the best one for beginners. In Albury 6.00pm Thursdays at the Assembly Hall of the Albury Public School, Smollet Street entrance."
"Will Ken go again this year Barbie?"
Barbie: "Yes, of course. Ken wouldn't miss it for all the tea in China."
"See you both then on 5th and 6th February."

An answer to Julie Anderson. The Albury class is in the Assembly Hall of the Albury Public School, Smollett street entrance on Thursdays at 6.00pm. The last class for the 2024 year will be 12th December.

A class suitable for beginners will commence on Thursday 17th October at 9.30am at St. John's Parish Centre (the hall next to St. John's Anglican Church) Federation Avenue, Corowa. Cost is $10 for a one hour class. Gentle mind body exercise suitable for all levels of fitness.

Silkworm update. All the eggs have hatched. The oldest are now twelve days old and are ready to shed their skins for the second time. They now need three leaves per feed.

A reminder that we have finished Term 2 a week early. Classes will resume on 19th and 20th July, 2023. Keep warm and keep practising.

"Haven't heard from you for a while Barbie. What's up?"
Barbie: "Just wanted to let everyone know that there will be a mid term break and there will be no tai chi and qigong on 17th and 18th May 2023. Classes will resume the next week in both Corowa and Albury.
"Do you know if anything new will be learnt then?"
Barbie: "Yes, a qigong set called the Tao Yin is on the agenda. It is the oldest set we do and goes back to the time of the Yellow Emperor in about 2500 BC. It is good."
"Isn't all tai chi and qigong good Barbie."
Barbie: "Most definitely. Can hardly wait!"

Tai Chi & Qigong classes resume this week.
In Corowa at the hall next to St. John’s Church in Federation Avenue at either 6.00pm Wednesday 1st February or 9.30 am Thursday 2nd February.
In Albury at the Assembly Hall of Albury Public School, Smollett Street entrance at 6.00pm Thursday 2nd February.

Classes for 2022 have come an end. The only photo I have is of the Albury group as the photographer was busy doing other things. Stay safe and well everyone, happy practising and be kind to everyone. Hope to see you all in 2023.

Rain, rain go away,
Come again another day.
There will be no tai chi and qigong class in Albury tonight, Thursday 13th October, 2022.
Term 4 will start next week, but keep practising in the meantime.

Tai Chi & Qigong has now finished for Term 1/2022. Term 2 commences after Anzac Day on either Wednesday 27th or Thursday 28th April. Hope to see everyone there. In the meantime enjoy your Easter, stay safe, happy practising and be kind to everyone.
