🏊‍♂️💙💛 SISA SC WINTER CHAMPIONSHIPS 🏊‍♂️💙💛

A great start to the SISA Short Course Winter Meet season in Griffith today!

The Lees brothers were on fire, combining for 10 PBs and 7 podium finishes! 🔥

🥇 Marshall claimed Gold in the 100m Breaststroke, along with 2🥈🥈 and 3🥉🥉🥉 podium finishes, while recording PBs in all 7 of his events.

🥉 Austin earned Bronze in the 100m Breaststroke with a 6.99 sec PB and recorded PBs in 4 events, including a huge 6.19 sec improvement in the 50m Backstroke.

🏊‍♂️🌟 A little further afield, but a fantastic meet for our older, more experienced competitors! 🌟🏊‍♀️

Don't forget to get your entries in via Swim Central before entries close 7pm 22nd June. 📝✅

📣 Coach Dave will be attending this meet and will not be attending the Wodonga meet, which is being held on the same date.

We'd love to see plenty of Sharks taking on the challenge and representing our club! 💙🦈💛

Entries for all events are now open via Swim Central.

These meets are a fantastic opportunity for swimmers to race, improve their skills, great intro into competition racing for beginner swimmers and lots of fun! 🤩

If you are unsure about entering, have a chat with Coach Dave. He will be more than happy to make suggestions and guide both first time and seasoned competition swimmers.

We would love to see plenty of Sharks represented on pool deck! 🦈

Whether you're a school leaver, current swimmer, former swimmer, or simply passionate about helping young athletes succeed, coaching could be the perfect opportunity for you.

✅ Develop nationally recognised coaching qualifications
✅ Gain valuable leadership and communication skills
✅ Flexible opportunities available
✅ Independent Contractor and Paid Volunteer arrangements available

Swimming Australia allows coaching candidates to begin their coaching journey from age 16 through its recognised coaching pathway.

Sharks Milestones post!
Congratulations to the following Sharks who have achieved Blue and Bronze in the Swimming Australia’s Pho3nix Junior Excellence (JX) program for 2025/26. This program recognises the performances of swimmers aged 9 – 13 to encourage and inspire the next generation of competitive swimmers.

Great news for the Corowa Sharks! 🦈
On Wednesday we were lucky enough to receive a massive $2,000 grant from Club Corowa through the CLUBGrants program 🙌
This support will help us purchase much‑needed new equipment for our players and volunteers.
A huge thank‑you to Club Corowa for backing our club and our community 💙👏

We would love any donations to help build up our club supply for swimmers to use at training.
