Before we get ready for this weeks fixtures just wanted to talk a bit about last weeks games.

The 18s guys went in with two new players up against who I rate as the 2nd best player in the competition. We played well early with a lot of good passing in and around the key to keep in touch. We struggled with one player and that was the main difference between the teams in the end. We put together our highest score in the division so far at Wangaratta and just need to tighten up our team defence.

Our 16s boys put in a good performance without their starting centre to notch a solid win in week 1.

ok crew fixture is up and we are back into it from tomorrow night.

Our 18 guys team play Monday 16th February (yes tomorrow) 6:10pm Court 5 against Gotsims

There is no 2nd division so all players are in an 8 team comp. It's not going to be easy but we learnt a lot last season and personally I think you have the skill to get a number of wins and run some of the better teams much harder this season.

Our 16 boys are remain in Div 2 and are playing Tuesday 17th February 7:50pm on Court 4 against Magic

We are playing in same tops as last season so get the guys to try them on tonight if possible in case they have grown. If they need a bigger top let me know

Well February has arrived and that means we are getting closer to the season starting for our kids in Wangaratta

The season starts on Monday 16th February for our under 18 guys and Tuesday 17th February for our under 16 guys.

Training will recommence on Wednesday 4th February from 5pm at Corowa High School. Thanks to Corowa High for again making their facilities available to us to use for training

On Wednesday 12th February after training we will do our last season trophy presentations so parents if you want that photo opp please be at training at 6pm

Our 16s boys played in a prelim final tonight and whilst not the result we wanted they played well, fought hard but just couldn’t get the win. They have had a fantastic season and a big thank you to their coach Terry Delamere for taking on the job this season and putting a lot of development into the boys games.

On a side note given the result and I am crook there won’t be any training for the rest of this year. We will get a presentation get together sorted and will announce date and time shortly
