We’ve had so many new faces join us in the studio this year since relocating, and there are still so many of you I haven’t had the chance to meet yet — so I thought it was the perfect time to reintroduce myself 🤍
Hi, I’m Renae 😊And there’s a reason I’m so passionate about Pilates.
My Pilates journey started when I was 4 months postpartum with my first daughter.
At the time, I was navigating life as a new mum while also living with an autoimmune disease I’d been diagnosed with at 21. I had spent years managing pain with medication, but deep down I knew I wanted to find another way to support my body.
I had done the gym thing, but it just no longer felt right for where my body was at.
So I tried Pilates… and I fell in love.
For the first time in a long time, I moved my body and actually felt better afterwards — stronger, more connected, and without pain.
Alongside Pilates, I started tuning into what my body needed, making changes to my diet, and over time, I was able to come off medication I had been on for 8 years.
That experience completely changed the way I viewed movement.
It’s why I’m so passionate about helping others find movement that feels good — especially those who feel disconnected from exercise, are dealing with pain, or just haven’t found something that feels right for them yet 💛
