⛳🍻 New Sports Bar Hours at Corowa Golf Club!

Updated Sports Bar hours, giving you more time to enjoy the club! Why not make the most of it and head down for a hit on the driving range, then relax afterwards with a nice cold beer in the Sports Bar.

It’s the perfect way to unwind, catch up with mates, and enjoy the amazing looking course.

As we continue to work through matters at the club, we are continuing to review operations to ensure we can provide the most benefit to you in a sustainable way.

As such, we have a slight revision to the Sports Bar operating hours. Effective from today the new operating hours will be 12 till 8, Thursday through till Sunday.

Thank you to everyone who has put their hand up to support the course — the response from the community has been incredible and we really appreciate it.

To help coordinate the large number of volunteers and keep things organised, we’ll be using Zelos Team Management App. This platform will allow volunteers to view tasks, select shifts that suit their availability, and receive updates.

Some of the areas volunteers may assist with include:
• Bunker maintenance – The course has 42 bunkers, with plans for volunteer teams to help rake and tidy them weekly across different sections of the course.
• On-course toilets – Light cleaning twice per week at the toilets on the 1st and 13th holes.
• Cart washing – Volunteers may assist washing carts after play in the afternoons.
• Bar support – As the Pro Shop bar and gaming area reopen, volunteers with RSA certificates may be able to assist.
• Grocery / drink pickups – Occasional collection of supplies when required.
• Gardens & surrounds – Some volunteers have already offered to help maintain the clubhouse gardens.

Greens staff will continue to manage mowing, spraying and course machinery.

This Sunday March 8th, Victoria long week. 2 person ambrose "bring a guest day" members are encouraged to bring a guest to come and play, no handicap required just fun. Book in through portal. Tee times 7 30 am to 1pm. Mizuno cart bag for best nett score. $ 20 each. Bar will be open so come out and enjoy our great course.

⛳️ COMMUNITY UPDATE – FUNDRAISING & VOLUNTEERS

Following Thursday night’s meeting called by Corowa Golf Club, we want to provide a transparent update to our community.

As a community group, we have made the decision to pause any fundraising efforts until there is a clear direction following the administration process.

Our priority is ensuring that any funds raised by the community are directed solely toward protecting and maintaining the golf course itself — not toward servicing historical debt. Until there is certainty around governance, structure and fund allocation, we believe this is the most responsible approach.

In the meantime, the support shown by this community has been nothing short of incredible.

We are currently working closely with the club to coordinate and schedule volunteers in the areas where assistance is most needed. A structured plan is being developed to ensure volunteers are supported, tasks are clearly allocated, and everyone’s time is used effectively. Thank you to those already assisting the club!

This is about doing things properly, transparently and with the long-term future of the course in mind.

Volunteer registrations are now finalised via the online form. The club will be in touch soon with all that put their hand up to help.

The club are currently exploring an exciting online tool that will help schedule volunteers and allocate tasks in a simple, organised way to make it easier for everyone to get involved.
