It's in the community hall at number 24. Senior Classes are run on Monday and Wednesday nights from 6pm - 730pm. We also have a junior class that goes from 5-6:15pm Wednesday's and is a great way for the more junior students to find their feet. The classes cost $5 per student per class but you are welcome to try our the first 2 weeks for free. Come along on a Wednesday to see how it all works and

your children are welcome to join in. Our classes are run by most senior instructor Shihan Scott McQuaid. (5th dan black belt. Over 30 years training in Kyokushin)

We hope you can make it and I am sure your children will enjoy the training. Please feel free to call if you have anything else you would like to know.

A huge OSU! to Beefy, Mitch, Claudia and Little Ant, who stepped onto the mats this weekend and proudly represented our dojo! 👊

Little Ant came away with a well-earned WIN! 🏆🔥 Beefy, Mitch and Claudia all fought hard, each winning valuable experience against tough opposition.

Win or lose, stepping into the ring takes courage, commitment and heart. We are incredibly proud of all four of you for getting out there and representing our dojo with pride!

What Does OSU Really Mean?

In Kyokushin Karate, OSU is far more than a word. It's the spirit that guides how we train, how we treat others, and how we face challenges both inside and outside the dojo.

Every greeting is an OSU.
Every response to an instructor is an OSU.
Every challenge met in training is answered with an OSU.

Even after receiving a strong technique from a training partner or opponent, a karateka responds with OSU as a sign of respect, humility, and recognition of their opponent's skill.

At its core, OSU represents perseverance under pressure. It reminds us to keep going when training gets tough, to stay disciplined when progress is slow, and to remain humble no matter how much we achieve.

When we bow and say OSU as we enter the dojo, we show respect for: 🥋 Our instructors
🥋 Our fellow students
🥋 The dojo itself
🥋 The traditions of Kyokushin passed down through generations

More importantly, we make a commitment to ourselves to keep learning, keep improving, and never give up.

OSU is respect.

We push each other, test ourselves and leave it all on the floor. Then we shake hands, show respect and do it all again next class.

Acceptable? It's not just acceptable... it's the BEST form of bonding! 😂🥋👊

Where else can you call someone a friend, spend an hour trying to kick each other in the head, punch each other hard, finish absolutely exhausted and covered in bruises... then shake hands and pat each other on the back to thank your opponent for the privilege of the fight! 😂

That's Kyokushin.

We train hard, push each other, laugh together and somehow become better friends because of it.

The only sport where getting beaten up by your mates is considered quality time! 😂
