📣 RESULTS FOR ROUND 8

Got to shout out to a couple teams this week.

Loving DIV 2 - Womens smashing it on Saturday even with the wet
weather. Nice work ladies! 🥳 And clearly the DIV 2 Mens teams were
Nsync - both teams winning 5-2 🤩

Biggest shout to our "goalies" in all divisions, we know you work hard
to make our teams look good. And a mini shout out to our newest goalie
(in under 12 and 14's) Claire... you did an amazing job... well done!

The new facility at Stead Park and the new commercial kitchen will allow us to use the social space for meals and events.

We are seeking expressions of interest from those who have their RSA and Safe Food Handling Licence. If you do not currently have these, you may obtain them online from a reputable provider. Please be careful who you choose as there are scams out there. A TAFE course or one that you know will deliver what you pay for is recommended.

Send your name and contact details, including your current qualifications, to Nette Williams. Payment will be based on an employee relationship and will be at award rates.

There is no commitment on your part at this point but if needed, we will offer you the opportunity.

Hockey Geelong will be exiting from our Stead Park pavilion slightly earlier than anticipated and will now be vacating by Wednesday 13 August.

As a result Stead Park will be operating using temporary facilities from the 14 August through to the project completion date of 30 September. These temporary facilities will include toilets and first-aid but not changing rooms.

The early vacate date will enable smooth delivery of the project, best outcomes for the new precinct and ensure the completion date of 30 September is achieved.

While this will impact the end of our season I am sure you are seeing an amazing facility evolving before your eyes. Please contact the Secretary or your club if you have any questions.

Hockey Geelong's new Goalkeeper Clinic kicks off tonight at Stead Park.

Open to goalkeepers of all ages, skill levels and clubs.

I hope everyone had a great long weekend and also got
some well deserved rest.

🤳The social media team will be out and about this week capturing
footage and photos 🎥 of our teams, so make sure you show
us your best playing. We are hoping to get some inspiring
shots but also some sweaty and messy one 🥵, so don't hold back.

There were some really great games this week. Under 12's had their first win of the season and all DIV 2 teams did well.
