Geelong Galaxy is proud to congratulate Hannah Walsh, Ayla Nikolovski, Isabelle Petsas and Mathilde Randles Pedersen on their selection to attend Football Australia’s Talent Development Scheme (TDS) event.
This recognition is a significant achievement for each player and reflects their hard work, commitment and continued progression, not only within the Geelong Galaxy program, but also through the Football Victoria pathway and their strong performances at this year’s Emerging Matildas Championships.
The Football Australia Talent Development Scheme is a key component of the national talent identification pathway, created to identify and support emerging footballers from across the country. The program provides selected players with the opportunity to take part in educational workshops, high-performance training sessions and an 11v11 match environment, helping prepare them for future representative opportunities.
This two-day program will be held at the Home of the Matildas and will be led by Junior Matildas Head Coach Michael Cooper, bringing together some of the most promising young players in the state.
For Geelong Galaxy, this selection is not only a fantastic reward for the players involved, but also a proud reflection of the strength of our female pathway and the development environment being built within our club.
We congratulate Hannah, Ayla, Isabelle and Mathilde on this outstanding achievement and wish them every success as they represent themselves, their families and Geelong Galaxy at this important event.
