This weekend, Terrigal plays host to the next installment of this incredible series, with the state’s best IRB crews set to battle it out in the surf.

Head down and support the action as our Central Coast teams take on the competition in what promises to be an epic weekend of racing.

This weekend our Rookie of the Year, Grace, competed in her very first Pool Rescue Championships — and decided to make her debut at State level! 💪🏊🏻‍♀️

Grace was Copa’s sole competitor for the weekend and absolutely swam her heart out. We couldn’t be prouder of the effort, determination and results she achieved against some incredibly tough competition.

Here’s how she went 👏

🏊🏻‍♀️ 50m Manikin Carry — 12th
🏊🏻‍♀️ 100m Obstacle Swim — 10th
🏊🏻‍♀️ Mixed 200m Medley Relay with Avoca — 8th
🏊🏻‍♀️ 50m With Fins — 7th
🏊🏻‍♀️ 100m Brick Carry — 7th
🏊🏻‍♀️ 100m Line Throw — 4th
🏊🏻‍♀️ 100m Manikin Tow — 4th, missing 3rd place by less than half a second! 😮

An amazing achievement for a first competition - well done Grace! 🔥

📣 If anyone 11 yrs & up (all the way to Masters) would like to give it a try with her, there is a CC Branch competition on July 26! Let us know!!!!

They age manage, keep us safe in the water, volunteer as officials, coach us, organise carnivals, manage teams, keep us organised, pack the snacks, apply the sunscreen, remember our goggles & caps, and support us every single day. We ❤️our mums. Thank you for everything
