Our VILLAGE KITCHEN is taking shape! The foundation is now laid, and next up is decking. 🙌🏾

In a village setting, the floor is everything. It’s where we give and accept the “sevusevu”, where we gather to share food, exchange stories, teach our children, talanoa late into the afternoon and sometimes even sleep. The floor holds us, our culture, our conversations, and our connections. It becomes the meeting place of generations. ✨

This open-air kitchen will be more than a place to cook.
It will be a hall for cultural sharing; preparing traditional foods, learning from our elders, weaving, laughing, resting, and simply being together in the way the Vanua has always grounded us. 🔥

Every nail, every board, every hour of work brings us closer to a space built with intention, culture, and community at its heart. 💚

🌴 ENCOURAGING ITAUKEI LANDOWNERS TO TAKE FULL OWNERSHIP OF THEIR LAND 🌴

Recently our co-founder visited the Ra Provincial Office to get some Nanumi Au paperwork signed and had the opportunity to meet the iTaukei Affairs team coincidentally visiting from the Suva office.

As an iTaukei business owner, this moment truly feels like our circle has come full — especially after securing our eco-tourism lease for our land!

But even though our circle feels complete, it also feels like the journey is only just beginning.
