Something a bit different this season.

Well it’s load up day for the last time to head to Archerfield on the weekend to go and have a “Squirt in the Dirt”.

Going to be quite surreal driving out of this place on Saturday night for the the final time. A place that I have fond memories of as a kid watching my Dad fly around the track with the yellow and orange #26 (hence my coloured numbers) to screaming through the fence on a few occasions witnessing him earn a #1.

To get an opportunity to run a midget here has been a lifetime dream, and I’m hoping to stop and smell the methanol on Saturday and let that sink in one more time.

It has been a very reduced season for us this year, and having being out of the car for so long I’m hoping the confidence I had in our last meeting returns quickly.

This sport takes an army of people to keep the wheels turning and I couldn’t do it without some amazing people and companies.

Adrian Mildenhall & Sara Mildenhall from both Monitored Security Solutions & Shooters Edge been an awesome support and it has been a pleasure to run both your companies logos on each side of the car.

Graeme Flynn & Kylie From both Fwordspeedshop & Revolution Race Gear Sunshine Coast have been absolute troopers. From being great friends to helping me through quite a tough period over the last 6 months has been epic. Unfortunately I can’t give Graeme the traditional bird on the dummy grid this weekend however I’m sure we will roll up together some day soon.

Trent Humphreys & Barney from Barney Exhaust & Mechanical are top blokes that have always had my back. If it wasn’t for these guys the old tow truck wouldn’t be in action and we simply would only be watching.

Adam & Mouette from Cooroy Car Parts for always looking after me with everything I’ve needed to keep the wheels turning. You guys rock, and are absolute legends of people as well.

Josh Harm & Michael Budgen for their amazing knowledge to work out why the old girl wouldn’t fire last weekend. Top blokes and dropped what they were doing at a moments notice.

As I said, this racing deal takes an army. I’m just the solider that points and shoots.

Here’s to all of the above people, here’s to having some awesome fun, and here’s to having a crack for 50 laps.

As always the lap sponsorship will mean there is $5000 total up for grabs to the driver or drivers that lead each lap of one of the biggest races of the season! Laps are $100 each with each sponsorship going to the driver leading your chosen lap of the feature race ➡️

WHAT A PAYOUT FOR QUEENSLAND TITLE

Massive thanks to Brad and Toni Dawson from GSA Advanced Machining who’ve gone “All in” to make this seasons Queensland Speedcar Title one of the biggest ever held.

Because of their generous support, this seasons Queensland Title being held at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway on Saturday 27 May will pay $14,000 in the A Main alone, including $4,000 to win.
