Coorow Swimming Club

Coorow Swimming Club Coorow Amateur Swimming Club is comprised of family and friends of children in and around our township, who wish to improve their swimming. NB.

We aim to better members' swimming ability, confidence, stroke technique and efficiency, all in a fun-filled volunteer-run environment. Swim Club session take place on Tuesdays, during the school terms 1 & 4. Swim Club commencement in term 4 depends on when the Shire of Coorow opens the pool, for the summer season each year. We conduct time trials, every fortnight. Eligibility criteria - Children

have to have passed Stage 3 VacSwim to participate. We are kindly sponsored by Aviso Insurance and the CWA also donate towards our trophies each year.

We are getting closer to the start of term and the second half of our swim club season. We welcome any new kids that have passed stage 3 in VAC Swim to join our team. Please contact Taryn if you want to enrol your child so we can sort out group sizes and coaches.

Don't forget about time trials this week! Again hopefully the storms stay away. If we can have as many parent helpers as possible that would be amazing and make the afternoon run smoothly. It's also a great opportunity to see how well the kids are doing.
