Nestled at the foothills of stunning Mt Cooroora near Pomona, Golden Gully Thoroughbreds offers a purpose built 100 acre facility that includes spacious, modern and well managed stables and paddocks for spelling and long term agistment of thoroughbreds. Each owner or trainer and horse has individual needs, and our small team is devoted to ensuring these needs are documented and fulfilled. All hors

es are provided with a thoroughbred specific dry hard feed, accompanied by quality hay, twice daily. Our experienced staff will assist with tailoring supplements and dietary needs to suit your training regime and your horse’s requirements. Facilities include a new stable complex with large individual stables for your horse. Golden Gully Thoroughbreds has also installed strong, safe, horse-friendly electrified fencing to every paddock, with our aim to limit any exposure to injury whilst on our farm. Golden Gully Thoroughbreds has spaciously designed day yards for horses that first enter the property, allowing them to settle into their new environment. After your thoroughbred has acclimatised to the facility, they are then moved to larger paddocks where they have plenty of space and thick pastures to enjoy the spelling process. We recognise that for a horse to let down and spell effectively, it needs space and surrounds “to be a horse”. Our team thoroughly understands quarantine, hygiene and daily and weekly monitoring importance, which is sometimes overlooked in the thoroughbred agistment industry. We document all information and data specific to your horse, prior to arrival, during its spell, and prior to departure. This information will be provided to you in document form so you can peruse how your horse has spelled whilst at Golden Gully Thoroughbreds. Feel free to visit our property at any time, as the owners live on site and are happy to show you around the facilities.
