Myarra Australian Stock Horses is a partnership between Irene & Michael Fenn (Balhannah, South Australia) and Rachel Fenn & David Neale (Moerlong, South Australia). Myarra selectively breed a small quantity of horses each year to compete with in a range of competitions, although campdrafting is our favourite sport. Looking for EOI for purchase of our beautiful mare Mintie. We’ve officially decided that we won’t be breeding in the foreseeable future due to other commitments. Please message for details. Mintie is a TB registered for ASH breeding purposes. For transparency (we are big believers in honesty when selling horses) we purchased her in foal and she was due 2022. She slipped this foal and we have not attempted to put her back in foal. Price will reflect this history. She has previously foaled successfully. Big, beautiful mare. An update on the charismatic and cheeky Myarra Jedi (Myarra Southern Star x Myarra Fleur) who is owned by and under the impeccable care of Heather Torney. Heather and Jedi have been having fun together at clinics with Sandi Simons, Adam Wallen and Sue Lind. They have a wonderful relationship with each other that is a pleasure to watch. So lovely to see this beautiful girl Myarra Daybreak “Daisy” (Myarra Southern Star x Emugully Damascus) with her owner Jasmine Pfitzner. Jasmine is starting Daisy herself and we can’t wait to see their journey together! It’s great to hear that she has a super trainable nature. Daisy has also apparently inherited her father’s yawning tendencies 🙈😊

Myarra Skywalker “Lando” (Darma Acres of Impact x Kioma Lady Abree) is a half brother to Theo and Bree’s last foal who she unexpectedly carried at 22yo. After being lovingly brought on by Isabeau following leaving us he is on his way to a great new home in Qld. Good luck Lando and congratulations to his new owner!!

Congratulations to Meg Ross and Billie Jean 👏 Winners of the Open in the inaugural Anzac Day challenge. We wish we’d been there today. Sounds like Lynda and Wayne Field put on an amazing event, and having seen how they run events we know this would absolutely be the case! So proud that Billie Jean was sired by our Theo aka Myarra Southern Star, and her dam Hillbillie was sired by Boonderoo Blackwood. Billie Jean has all the genetics to be a superstar, but all credit goes to Meg. Meg you are a superstar horse woman 👏👏

Just thought we’d do an update post for everyone. We’ve had lots of lovely messages. We just want everyone to know that we are all okay, it’s just that we’ve had family things going on that has impacted on our ability to focus on the horses. We felt given the circumstances it was best to transition horses to homes that have the time to bring out their best. In the next little while our plan is to get back into it slowly as things settle and we have more time. With that being said, we’d like to introduce you to part of that plan. We’ve been looking for a high quality TB mare to cross with Theo for quite some time. We are very excited to welcome Mintie (Find a Moment) to the Myarra family. Mintie is a very well performed mare (under the expert guidance of Kim Ide). Mintie is in foal to Chalani Sunstream and this will be our only 2022 foal as we wanted to ensure we weren’t over extending ourselves given other pressures. Many thanks to Chalani Australian Stock Horses for allowing us to purchase this beautiful mare.
