Hey there why don't you come along this Friday afternoon or Saturday afternoon or this Sunday ( annual Beef n Reef fours competition - Goolwa Meats are our major sponsor). Come and see our new fence and shade area - thanks to the efforts of members and some other very kind people - come along and find out who did what ! We can even do with a few helpers - especially on bigger event days. Also congratulations to Damian Jacobs - club singles champion - playing off in the Upper SE championship singles this Sunday at Keith. Cheers.

Howdy - quick update. Thanks to the combined efforts of club members and some other very kind people we now have a new fence on the southern and western side of the bowling green. Also new shaded area at the southern end of the green. Come along on Friday afternoon or this Saturday afternoon / evening or even this Sunday.... To have a look , find out who did what towards the projects, give us a hand on Sunday as we host our annual Beef n Reef Fours event with Goolwa Meats as our major sponsor. We always can do with a few extra helpers on the day. All the best to Damian Jacobs for Sunday - he is contesting in the Upper South East bowls association singles Championship. We know he will do us proud. Also keep an eye out for other events - including up coming Barefoot bowls night soon. See ya.

Hey just letting you know that bowls season is upon us once again. As such there will be a practice and get together this Friday afternoon from about 5 pm. First match is on Saturday 17th against Tintinara at Tinty. Anyone interested in bowling or just being involved socially or helping in some way are always welcome.

With another season done and dusted and the grandfinal this week end, we wish Bordertown and Keith luck in their attempt at this year's pennant flag. We now reflect on a positive season, with some marginal games in the first half of the season. Narrow losses are the ones that need to be turned into narrow wins to have success in March. The formalities for our end of season presentation will be held on Sunday April 28th at 12pm at the Coonalpyn hotel. Our AGM will follow with all positions vacant. We hope you can attend to celebrate our season of bowls.

Well another year over for our Beef and Reef tournament. Well attended once again by 14 teams. Our meat once again supplied by Goolwa Meats. Fantastic effort by James to satisfy our bowlers and guests. Final winners being Keith, with runners up Renmark. Well done all on another successful day at Coonalpyn Bowling Club. 😃👍
