We are excited to announce the appointment of Matt Grant as our Division 2 Men's Assistant Coach for the 2027 season.

Matt brings a wealth of coaching experience from Victoria's highly competitive football leagues and, after spending the past 12 months settling into the Queensland lifestyle, is eager to get back involved in footy.

His experience and football knowledge will provide valuable support in the coaches' box and allow Nick to continue in his player-coach role. We are confident Matt will be a fantastic addition to our senior program as we continue building towards a successful 2027 season.

Harry's back! 🖤🤍

What a way to kick off our 2027 signings — Harry Rendall has re-signed with the Magpies for another season!

For anyone who watched throughout the year, you'll know exactly why we're excited: Harry produced some serious form, kicking a league-leading 52 goals. And the scary part? That was only his first full season of senior footy. We can't wait to see the fear he puts through opposition defenders next year.

Our Senior Women's season has come to an end.

Unfortunately, it wasn't the result we were hoping for yesterday, going down to a very strong Cooly Blues outfit. They were simply too good on the day and have clearly been the benchmark team all season.

To our girls, you fought right to the final siren, and we couldn't be prouder of what you achieved in 2026. From a newly formed team in January to finishing 6th at the end of the home-and-away season and making it all the way to the final game of the year, your journey has been nothing short of special.

You have laid a fantastic foundation to build from and given yourselves every reason to be excited about another crack at it in 2027.

A huge thank you to our coaches and support staff for their dedication throughout the season, and an even bigger thank you to everyone who came along to support the team yesterday. We turned up in numbers, and the girls definitely heard and felt your support.

Congratulations on a remarkable first season. The future is bright for this group, and we can't wait to see what 2027 brings. 🏉

Our girls are ready to carry their strong form into Sunday, taking on the undefeated minor premiers, the Coolangatta Blues. After two hotly contested clashes during the home and away season, this one's shaping up to be a classic.

The club couldn't be prouder of what this group has built together, and we can't wait to see them front up on Sunday afternoon and give it everything for one more finish on a high.

Get along and back the girls in black and white — every Magpie on the sidelines makes a difference.

Sunday, 4:45pm, our Women's Division 2 side run out at Cooke‑Murphy Oval, Labrador to take on the Coolangatta Blues for the flag.

Think about the road they've travelled to get here — scraping into the finals in 6th spot, and now one more win away from a premiership. That kind of run doesn't happen without heart, and they've shown it week after week. Now it's our turn to show up for them. Let's make Cooke‑Murphy Oval a sea of black and white and make sure they can hear us from the first bounce.

Following on from our Executive Committee call-out, our General Committee vacancies are now open too — and this is where a lot of the week-to-week magic happens. Canteen, Bar, Merchandise, Events, Grants, Facilities, Coaching, Umpires, Social Media, Sponsorship & Marketing, Auskick, Team Managers and more.
These are the roles that keep training nights running, canteens stocked, sponsors looked after, and our juniors, youth and seniors all supported on game day. No experience needed — just a bit of time and a willingness to pitch in for the Coomera community.

What a finals run from our girls! Starting the series in 6th place, we have now made it all the way to the Grand Final!

We could not be prouder of our girls. What a huge week this will be for them and everyone at the club! Stay tuned for information on our grand final next week!

LET'S GO GIRLS! 🔥

Tomorrow afternoon, our girls travel to Robina for a huge Preliminary Final showdown against the Robina Roos.

The Roos are a strong and experienced side, so we're expecting another tough contest. After last week's impressive Semi Final win over reigning premiers Tweed Coast, the girls are full of confidence and playing some fantastic footy.

We'd love to see a big crowd there supporting the team. Make some noise and let's help drive the girls into a Grand Final!

Huge weekend of finals with 2 of our seniors sides playing in knock outs!

Our senior women have booked themselves a spot in the prelim with a huge road win against Tweed Coast! What a journey this has been so far finishing 6th and knocking out 3rd and 5th both on the road to get to where we are!

Unfortunately, after a strong season which saw us finish 4th, our division 3 side went down in an absolute nail biter against Southport on Friday night. What a year it’s been for them though sitting a top of the ladder for the first half the season!
