One common question we get asked is how to maintain motivation for training.

The answer lies in understanding that regardless of the size of your goals, discipline forms the base of your journey.

Whether your goals are to build strength, increase your fitness levels, increase your weightlifting or gymnastics skills or simply to be better than last week. Remember motivation may fluctuate but discipline remains constant.

If you can’t fathom arriving to a place of loving your body, can you flirt with the idea of accepting it?

This is by no means an inclusive list, it’s in fact an oversimplified list...one that requires unpacking, time and patience.

Focus on how you FEEL - this is one way to cultivate awareness of your body, emotions and bring the focus back to your internal, rather than external values.

Respect your here and now body - sometimes your body is hungry at unexpected times and sometimes it’s tired at unexpected times. By honoring these moments you can learn to trust your body and your body can trust that you will take care it of it too. PS respecting is not at all “giving up.”

Grieve - if you have dedicated part of your life to “achieving” a smaller body, letting go of this can be hard - especially when you come to realize that diets just don’t work. Allow yourself permission to feel + heal.

Core values - Every seemingly small choice that you make, that aligns with your core values, carries the potential to bring you closer to your authentic self.

Diversity content - Actively read books written by BIPOC authors. Follow BIPOC accounts, humans in larger bodies, of different identities of different religions or non religions; IMO the marginalized bodies that are often silenced are the ones whose messages need to be seen and heard the most.

Challenge ANTs - this concept goes along with what I often talk about: rewiring the neuro pathways to create new pathways.

Join us for an exciting Gymnastics Workshop with the amazing Coach and games athlete Harriet Roberts on Saturday, July 1st, at 8:30 am at CFUE Southport!


Get ready for a power-packed day as we divide it into two in depth sessions.

Session 1 "BASICS" 8:30am-10:30am

In the first session, we'll be diving deep into fundamental body positions, mastering toes-to-bar (TTB), nailing butterfly pull-ups, and perfecting those impressive handstands.


Session 2 "MUSCLE UPS" 11:15am - 1:15pm

In the second session, we'll be taking things up a notch by warming up with skill specific mobilty work and focusing on conquering muscle-ups on both rings and the bar.


Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to learn from Coach and games athlete Harriet Roberts and take your gymnastics skills to new heights.

$80 for Session 1 OR 2
