CHANGE OF EVENT SUNDAY 31st of MAY
May is a month with 5 Sundays so that means as always, Cooma SC will hold an extra event for the clay target tragics. The NSW Calendar has us down for running our notorious Bush S***t but due to popular demand the executive have decided to change the program and run a Compak sporting day instead. Shooting starts at 9:30am and 2 ranges will be in play for a total of 100 targets. This is now considered a novelty event under SCA so shooters will compete in their regular SCA sporting grades.

Last Sunday 39 shooters attended the club for the annual mixed target challenge generously sponsored by McMahons Earthmoving.
100 fairly tricky targets were set with some true pairs made all the more challenging by difficult light under variable cloud cover. To spice things up there were also a smattering of yellow targets around the course which if hit, won the lucky shooter a box of shells. Judging by the hoots and hollers around the stands this little addition was well received. Majura Park member Andy Vaccaro bested the conditions to take out the high gun with a score of 84.

Cooma Sporting Clays enjoyed an excellent day on Sunday hosting 100 target shoot, proudly sponsored by Schofields Shearing.

With absolutely perfect weather the sun was shining down all throughout the day, we had a small turnout of shooters just enough for 4 big squads. Competitors were well looked after with hearty soups, meat and gravy rolls, and a delicious rice and curry back out our club house, Well‑set targets were put in use from our Easter Classic, the ranges was a great challenge, just enough for no 25s to slip through
