Wow what a fantastic couple of days at Coolup Cutting Club!
This weekend saw us trial a different program, running the unaffiliated events on Saturday afternoon, and we’ve received such positive feedback — which is absolutely fabulous to hear.
The weather turned it on for us too, with glorious conditions making for a brilliant weekend of cutting.
We would especially like to thank our time keepers, announcers, committee members, cattle coordinators, herd helpers, and everyone else who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. Events like these simply wouldn’t happen without the hard work of so many wonderful people.
A very special thank you also goes to our generous cattle donors — we truly wouldn’t have a sport without you. Your support means everything to our club and competitors.
And of course, a huge thank you to our judges, Richard Driscoll, Ron Cole and Susan Peace, for giving up their time and expertise over the weekend.
Enjoy the winter break everyone, and we look forward to seeing you all again in September!
