Well… after 12 years and 3 months, we are ‘pulling up stumps’ from Coolum Beach to move to the land of Biloela! What an amazing 12 years of being blessed to minister at Coolum Beach Baptist Church. We can’t imagine not having done life with you all over these last 12 years, and know that a part of you all moves with us ❤️ As we learn to navigate life in the country with the Biloela District Baptist Church, we look forward to many enriching times of fun, friendship and fellowship. I won’t deny that a stereotypical image comes to mind of participating in line dancing/bush dancing somewhere along the way 💃💃💃 Maybe we will need to buy an Akubra??? In any case, we are excited to learn all that there is to learn about living in the lovely town of Biloela. We know God has orchestrated this move and look toward to all He has planned 🙌🙌🙌John Gallagher

FairPlay has transitioned to a new online system.
If you think you will be applying for a voucher on the 24th Jan, register online now: https://sr-cp.sr-enquire.cloud/register
The registration process is simple and will mean you are set up in the new system, ready to apply for your next eligible round of FairPlay. Even if you have previously received a voucher, you will need to register in the new system to apply in the future.
Parents, carers or guardians can apply for a voucher valued up to $150 for their child, which can be used towards sport and active recreation membership, registration or participation fees with registered activity providers.
There is a limit of 1 voucher per child per calendar year

Hey everyone - get your team organised and join in the "Green and Gold Day".
Please note that the proper uniform needs to be worn on the field for your games, but feel free to come along dressed in green and gold, with your hair coloured etc.

Have you got your green and gold clothing or coloured hairspray ready for the 15th July for our GREEN AND GOLD DAY!!!

Remember we want to see a selfie/photo of you showing your support for the Matildas!

Tip of the week
Game Time- Players deserve equal playing time each week. Players learn by taking risks, demonstrating what they practised in game situations. These are rich learning experiences. No matter what the age of our players or the level they’re playing at, our primary aims should always be to help them enjoy the game and to assist their development.

This means taking an approach to player development that challenges each of our players individually, helps them to develop as people, and gives them a positive sporting experience.

Please note the SCCSA rule of no dogs allowed at training or games.

Just a reminder that no dogs (except assistance dogs) are allowed at SCCSA venues during games or training. This is regardless of the age or size of the dog.
The Association has this rule in place to;
1. Prevent Dog bites
2. Prevent unrestrained dogs from entering the fields during games
3. We have players and spectators that have dog phobias
4. We have players and spectators that have allergies to dog fur.

Please respect SCCSA rules and leave dogs at home or you will be asked to leave the venue.

Wet weather procedure- As soon as we find out from venues, we will do a post

Just a timely reminder what to do if it's raining this weekend. Please consider that the games are all ON this weekend even in bad weather - If field conditions are OK, then games will go ahead., (remember to bring a towel for the car journey home afterwards).
If games at a venue are cancelled, we will do a post on the SCCSA Facebook and SCCSA website. This information will be posted within minutes of a decision being made. Club committees will contact coaches and managers who will pass the cancellation on to their players/parents.

Please don't phone your club committee, or team managers / coaches to ask whether the game has been called off - assume the game is going head.
