Today's game can only be explained as "courageous".. Most teams would have not even bothered turning up to the fields, players injured and only 11 boys taking the field against Burleigh on their turf. But the boys were full of heart and took the field... Proud of you boys. 💚💛

Our game yesterday was always going to be a challenge with 3 boys out with injury. We had 2 boys from Div 2 and 2 boys from Under 12's helping us out and did extremely well in this very physical game. The score ended up 64-4 but our boys played well, a few mistakes didn't help but all in all we were very proud of the efforts of the boys. Man of the Match went to Brody with some awesome runs and tackles to boot and our only Try.. The boys have a well earned rest with a couple of weeks off to recover all the injuries. I will let you know when our photos will be in a txt message as soon as I find out.

34 - 10 score line.
1st half was a little rough and we didn't play good footy. After a talking from the coaching staff the boys came out and played awesome footy.. A few boys played injured and sick but still managed to take the field and stick it out the entire game. Tries went to Jayden x2, Dante x2, Travis, Blake and Tyreese. Goals Brody,Jayden and Hayden. Man of the Match went to 2 Jay and Blake.

Well the score line doesn't reflect the game tonight.. No subs and taking on a Burleigh team at their home is never easy.. Was a gutsy display by our boys, players playing with injury and still everyone giving 100%. Very proud to be a hornet tonight. Thank you to the boys for running the team tonight with our coach being away. A well deserved try to Jayden, and Man of the Match went to Thomas "the wrecking ball" Ladd.. Have a good weekend, rest up and see you all Tuesday.

Wow!! What a game.. The odds were against us but we gave it to Jimboomba. We had players playing injured, thank you to Huss from Div 3 stepping up and helping us out. Tries to Jayden x3, Hayden x2, Brody and Jay. Goals Brody 0-1 and Jayden 2-7. Score 36-16. Man of the Match went to Jayden. Thank you to Mike and Brett and of course to Ellie for all you do. Thank you to my helpers Sharren, Adrianne, Liz and Emily you guys make my job a lot easier. See you all at Training. 🏈😊
