Rainbow Bay Surf Life Saving Club is the most southern club on Queensland’s Gold Coast, 5 minute stroll from Coolangatta, right on the border of New South Wales and Queensland. Rainbow Bay Surf Club was established in 1962 due to the growing population, and families finding Rainbow Bay a safe place to swim and a great place to surf. Today the area has grown in both numbers and popularity, with Rai

nbow Bay being one of the most popular beaches on the Gold Coast. Rainbow Bay remains a favourite for both surfers with the world famous Snapper Rocks in front of the club, and with families for the safe swimming area provided by the bay. Volunteers patrol the beach every weekend from September to May. The clubhouse offers its members a training area, showers and change room and large equipment area. Rainbow Bay prides itself not only on patrols, but on surf boat rowing, with the Australian Gold medals for rowing to add to the member’s trophy cabinets. We have several categories of membership from Nippers to Active and Associate. The club offers a great community service for all age groups and welcomes the public to come and enjoy the facilities at Rainbow Bay SLSC.

Presentation Day Funday Sunday 21st March
UPDATED RUN OF EVENTS
Starting 8:30am weather permitting, we will hit the beach. There will be ‘Colour Run’ stations set up and other fun activities for all to get involved with. Parents remember ‘Colour Run’ - so please don’t come down in good clothes (pink rashie and club cap are not required).

We will not be entering the water, however parents must remain on the beach and be aware of where your children are at all times.

We will start Presentations after the Funday activities back up at the club house. A Free BBQ will be running throughout the morning for all our families to enjoy that one last sausage sizzle.

Looking forward to seeing you all down at Rainbow Bay this Sunday.
