We are in London at the moment and will for Phil Hughes at Lord's Cricket Ground on Sunday at 11am. If anyone, no matter the reason or justification for doing so feel they would like to honour this wonderful cricketer and show support for his family after such a tragedy, please feel free to join us and bring your bat to leave at Lords. If there are others you know of in London and would like to join, please pass the information on.

Lord’s is very close to the centre of London – just 1.5 miles from Marble Arch – and easy to reach by road, tube and bus. St John’s Wood is the closest tube station (approximately 5 minutes’ walk), and Warwick Avenue, Marylebone, Edgware Road and Baker Street are all within 15 minutes’ walk.

ARIA Music Awards organisers are licking their wounds after the industry they attempt to recognise seem to show no respect! No-shows (Iggy Azalea and Sia), interview snobs (5 Seconds of Summer and Jessica Mauboy) and awkward, ungrateful acceptance speeches (Chet Faker) left everyone underwhelmed. Carpe Diem - www.talentlaw.com.au

DESPITE one of the most star-studded line-ups in a long time, there was an overwhelming feeling at the ARIAs that some of our biggest stars felt they were just a little too cool to be there.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Phil Hughes and his family tonight after receiving a serious bouncer to the head and undergoing life-saving surgery today. Also, our thoughts go to the young bowler who delivered the completely legitimate ball, Sean Abbott as he unfairly deals with guilt after the incident. Carpe Diem - www.sportlaw.com.au

Cricketer Phil Hughes is in a critical condition after being hit in the head by a ball at the SCG.
