Happy Easter to all of our judoka and followers. Coolangatta Judo 🥋Club will be taking a break for the next two weeks over the NSW School Holidays. Regular classes start back from Monday the 20th of April 2025.

It's always great when clubs get together for training. Special thank you to Geoff Sensei from Tsunami Judo Club and extra members on our mat this evening. Always great to get Geoff Senseis' perspective on all matter of Judo principles and teachings. A great night of Ne Waza, Uchi Komi's, Combos and Randori. Awesome night had by all. Good luck to all competing this weekend. We have space for more Members on Monday nights and Thursday afternoons. Happy New Year 🎆 everyone. First seniors class for 2026 is back on Monday 19th of January 2026 from 6:30pm. Juniors classes back from February on Thursday afternoons from 4:30pm. New members/ beginners and advanced are welcome 🙏 🥋

As 2025 draws to a close for the festive season 🎄 🎁 , this week finds Coolangatta Judo 🥋 Club having their last training sessions for the year. Seniors final session for 2025 is tonight (15/12) from 6:30pm. Last juniors training session is this Thursday (18/12) from 4:30pm. Come along and enjoy the last sessions for the year. Enjoy a well earned break and we look forward to more Judo 🥋 & fun in 2026 🙏

Monday night seniors class saw a much needed focus & instruction on Sankaku Jime during our Ne Waza component. Three green belts on the mat, gave us some much needed time to work on Nage No Kata as well. Great effort by all 🥋👍

Fantastic evening of Judo at Coolangatta Judo Club 🥋last night. Even though we had a few members out of action and not able to attend (due to flu/colds etc), we were very delighted to have members of Tsunami Judo Club come along and train with us. Many thanks to Sensei Geoff and the Tsunami crew for coming along and making if a great and fun filled evening. Congratulations to Bailey on passing his 5th Kyu grading & earning his yellow belt. Such a wealth of knowledge in our dojo when we have Sensei Cam & Sensei Geoff teaching technicalities to our younger players too. Always appreciate the friendship and shared knowledge between our clubs. Looking forward to many more get togethers 🥋🙏
