As it comes close to 6 months since being accepted into the Sh*tbox Rally, another milestone has come today. WE RECEIVED OUR STICKERS (as well as the rego renewal for the T-Lex which is less exciting).

With six months down and only four short months to go we are so happy and grateful with the support we’ve had so far. We couldn’t have gotten this far without your support.

Plenty of time left to donate. Funds raised go towards the Cancer Council, so there is a worthy cause behind all this.

Hi everyone

Today we hit $3500 with our fundraising. We need to raise a minimum of $5000 to go on the Rally, so we are only $1500 away from achieving this. We have come so far in the past three months and I am sure the next six months leading up to the Sh*tbox Rally will fly by.

A huge thank you to all of those that have supported us so far. The proceeds of our fundraising go to the Cancer Council which not only goes to cancer research but also supporting those with cancer and their families.

The end has come to another project, hopefully. After our first go at window tinting last weekend looks passable we went ahead with the rest of the car. A few hours, a couple of missteps, pouring down rain on the last window and a heap of our rally cards to put pressure on in a couple of spots that needed some help (seeing we were at the end of the roll) we are done. All we need is a few sunny days for it to dry.

Hi everyone
We have been quiet lately as we took a break from boring everyone with fundraising updates and instead went to play with some camels in the NT. But, over the last few weeks we have been working in the background and this week we have hit the $3000 mark with our fundraising AND we have our first official sponsor, Lexus of Southport. We contacted them and had an immediate and enthusiastic response offering their support. Now, we just need to make it to the finish line to prove how good our ES300 is.

WE HAVE OUR SH*TBOX RALLY CAR!!!

As everyone probably knows already, we have our car. It's about 6 months too early but when the opportunity came up we couldn't say no. Our car of choice? A 1998 Lexus ES300. She's a little bit fancy and of course an odd choice, but there is a method to my madness.

The ES was a solid car and shares the engine and a lot of components underneath with a V6 Camry. This means its solid as a rock, easy to maintain and parts are readily available.

We purchased it from a man and his mother. The car was his fathers who had passed away recently. They thought he would have loved the idea on his car doing the Sh*tbox Rally and were more than happy to sell it to us (we were the only people that had enquired about it).

After a bit of a clean up, she looks pretty good. the paint is pretty rough, but mechanically she will be hopefully up to the test.
