Love doesn’t land on perfection — it lands on presence.
We’re taught to present our best, polished self to be worthy of love.
But perfection doesn’t build connection — it blocks it.
Real love needs something real to land on.
Trying to earn love by being perfect is like polishing a mask. It might shine, but it blocks true intimacy.
Presence builds connection, not performance.
When you let the mask drop and stay in your truth — even if it’s messy — the love that lands is real.
If someone can’t love you as you are, it’s not love — it’s approval-seeking dressed up in affection.
Let it go.

The myth of being “fully healed” before love.

There’s a message out there that says you need to fix yourself before love
But healing isn’t a finish line.
Most growth happens inside safe relationships — not before them.

A lot of people believe they have to sort out all their wounds before they’re ready for real love. But perfection isn’t the prerequisite for connection — vulnerability is.

The right relationship doesn’t demand a healed version of you.

It invites the healing to happen in real time — with real presence, and real support.

Holding out for a perfect self often leads to isolation, not readiness.
