has many claims to uniqueness. It is one of the oldest motorcycling clubs in the country with a rich history dating back to at least 1913. It is the only motorcycle club in Australia, and one of very few in the world, to own it's own road racing circuit.

This week, our community have been united in grief, as we mourn the loss of Lyn Clark, who we tragically lost on Sunday morning while doing what she loved most - racing.

I think I speak for everyone in the Mac park community when I say how truly devastated we are to lose Lyn in such tragic circumstances.

Lyn was a club member, a racer, a partner to Tez on the sidecar. But she was so much more than that, she was beautiful soul who lit up Mac Park with an infectious lust for life that would put many half her age to shame.

I find it difficult to articulate my own thoughts, especially as I was at the Bend in an official capacity, but to witness the motorcycle community band together and support each other is an amazing thing to see and be part of. We all know the risks, but when it hits close to home it puts things in perspective.

There is no doubt that Lyn will be sorely missed but I think it’s fair to say that the thoughts of everyone at Mac Park are now with Tez, along with how we can provide meaningful support in such a tragic time.

I, my family, and I’m sure everyone in the club are simply grateful to have had Lyn part of our lives.

The 2026 SA Road Racing Championship is well and truly underway.

Round 2 was hosted by The Bend Motorsport Park in July, delivering a great weekend of racing for those that were game enough to head out and give the new 1-day format a go.

It's great to have a full racing calendar to look forward to, and we hope that the events will continue to get bigger and better, bringing fresh faces to our grids and keeping the sport we love alive.

A strong turnout of nearly 60 riders enjoyed an absolutely magical winter’s day of Mac Park action today. While smiles were in abundance, despite the fact you can’t see Jake or Maverick’s faces, I’m not sure anyone had bigger smiles than these two.
As always, thanks to all the people that do the all things that make these days happen - Marg and Hillary in the office, Dave on the flags, Simon in the tower, Ross, Dave and Mick in the canteen, Bill, John, Andy and Cal on recovery, Shorty for doing what Shorty does, and all the behind the scenes efforts that go into making Mac Park what it is.

The ride day is all go for Saturday, but to just to clarify, it is only Saturday. Apparently, a few people are under the impression it's a double. Alas it is not. But fear not, our next ride day September 19th - 20th will be a 2-day event. And in case you have forgotten what a sunny winters day at Mac Park looks like (which is what is forecast), here's a recent reminder...is there anywhere else you would rather be???
