Al Widt Memorial Stableford

The inaugural Al Widt Memorial Stableford brought 15 members out to the course to enjoy the place he had such an important impact on.

John Van Mastrigt claimed the rights to be the first name etched on the memorial Shield with 38 points. Joe Forno secured second place after a countback from Lynne Widt.

Dylan Lipscombe received the Bradman award.

The NTP winners included Greg Fuller on holes 2/11 and 9/18, Doug Boss on 6/15, Dylan Lipscombe on 7/16, and John Van Mastrigt on 8/17. The Long Drive competition was won by Jonathan Mulliss

As we honor Al Widt's memory through this event, we remember his unwavering commitment to the Collinsville Golf Club and the Collinsville Community. The Shield will serve as a poignant reminder of his dedication and the impact he had on those around him.

A big weekend of Golf.

Starting off with the Workers Club Funday on Saturday

A great field of 40 players built from 13 teams played 9 holes in 3 divisions.

Division 3 (All non golfers)
Winner: The Goods (36 / 30.75)

Division 2 (Golfers and non Golfers)
Winner: The Swerdys (36 / 30.75)

Division 1 (All golfers)
Winner: D. Good Cox (34 / 30)

NTP: Arno and the Swerdys
Mens Long drive: Issac and the Glenden Guzzlers
Women Long Drive: Lynne and the BMWs

Then on Sunday a stableford comp was played by 13 players with a visitor joining us from Nambour GC, thanks Dexter for joining our comp.

Everyone took on something different and played from Skilled Based tees (Red/White) formally known as ladies tees. It was a tricky day with adjusted handicaps!
