Collinsville Barebow Hunters Club

Collinsville Barebow Hunters Club Collinsville Barebow Hunters Club Established in 1983, Collinsville Barebow Hunters Club is one of the longest running clubs in Collinsville.

This family orientated club is located a short 5 minutes drive from town and is set in beautiful surrounding bushland. What a great way to get the kids out of the house in a fun and safe environment. Our club has two great ranges that run over hills and dry creek beds and a fantastic practice range which is great for people of all levels. We meet every Sunday at 8.30, but can arrange to meet at a mutually convenient time if you are interested in having a try.

The Collinsville Barebow Hunters Club held their ABA round on Sunday, with 6 shooters taking to the creek course. It was good to see young Nate Linton back shooting, Nate travels down from the Burdekin to enjoy the sport, we also had a past member return to the club again, he is now a member and has joined ABA.
It was a hot morning on the course with some laughter and the usual yarn told, followed by a couple of coldies to finish the day.

From Tif & Debbie...

For those who plan on attending Glenville and Lynette's funeral.

Good evening,

As we will all be aware our archery community has had a huge loss with the devastating passing of Glenville and Lynette who were both devoted and passionate archers that were a big part of our Branch B Family.
We have been in contact with the family and have agreed to all archers performing a guard of honor with their bows at the funeral service. I have spoken with Ellis Brunker who has agreed for me to coordinate this with the family.
We have agreed that if all archers could wear their club shirts and jeans as this is something you would have always seen Glenville and Lynette wearing.
All archers will stand holding their bows with no arrows in the quiver please.
Once we have the confirmed date and information we will forward this to all clubs.
Please if you can circulate this through the clubs and anyone we have missed as I do not have all the contacts.
Any questions please give Debbie a call on 0407022906

To everyone grieving at this time please know we are thinking of you all and as a community we will all come together.

Regards
Tifannie and Debbie Lamb

It is with deep sympathy that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of two of our much-loved members, Glenville and Lynette.

Their sudden loss has left a great sadness within our community, and our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with their daughters, family, and friends at this incredibly difficult time.

They will be dearly missed but remembered always, and we take comfort in knowing they are now together in eternity.
