The club opened in 1952 boasting racing under lights. The race meetings that followed were held mostly on Friday nights.

The Collie Harness Racing Club was established in 1952 and holds 4 annual Race Meetings running through our October and November each year culminating in The Collie Cup. In 1981 the club moved to afternoon meetings, mainly held on a Saturday until the mid 1990's. The club now races as a spring/summer club on alternating Sundays in October & November. Over the years the club has improved facilities

with shade sails, additional seating and tables to cater for larger crowds. In 2015 a Mobile Barrier was introduced to racing with great success, this added to the pre existing traditional Standing Starts make The Collie Harness Racing Club Meetings a great annual success.

Our trot season for 2025 is done and dusted, and what a fantastic season it was! We’d like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who makes these days possible: our dedicated volunteers, hardworking committee, supportive members, generous sponsors, and of course, the amazing patrons and crowd who turn up and cheer on the action!

Your support keeps these events happening year after year, and we can’t wait to see you all at our next meeting in 2026! 🎉
