Little bit of a shocker!

Went to collie and had a run in the Jones family proddy. First heat we elected to start of the rear and got the hang of the car and made a couple of passes and finished 5th! 2nd heat started 6th and made it into 4th on the first corner and on the second lap went to go into 3rd and unfortunately the flywheel come loose and called it game over. Just started to get the hang of the car and had some real nice pace. We will fix it up and go again in Manjimup in a couple of weeks!

Doesn’t go too bad for a carby 😉 thanks matty and Bec! And everyone else that come down and helped us try and get the car ready at half time!

What do they reckon, 🤭

Bit of a different scenery tonight!

The team are set and ready to have a run in collie in the proddy. Massive thanks to Matt and Bec for offering me their car to have a run while mine is still getting done! Also thanks to David, Greg, Glenny and Robbie Trenaman for helping get the car running right to! Don’t expect a lot, just want to have some fun and get the hang of it again! 8 months out of the seat. Results will be in this status!

Same but a little different!

After writing the car off at Ellenbrook a couple of months ago we ended up buying a Vz with a main cage in it and started to build our new modified.

A lot of work and swear words but we have half a race car!
A couple more things to go before we pick up the new engine from MRE. Stay tuned for the new stickers to come from colliesignfx in the next couple of weeks!

A couple of beadlocks that got made up today 👍
Thanks to Collie Machine Shop for knocking them up for us. Unfortunately the cover was a bit of a pain so they machined the face of the wheel and the locker and made it look just as good.

Little bit chilly in collie this morning!
After a big week back at work and getting the car sorted we are locked and loaded ready to hit the road to Mount Barker for today’s speedway there! I have never raced there and a bit excited to see what the track brings for us! Thank you to Greg, Glenn, David, Paul and Shaun for helping me get the car ready! Also a massive thanks to Mum Keithy and Tova for coming down and helping me out today!

Well the motorplex was a waste!
Nothing went right at the motorplex for us but we had fun, unfortunately the car come home with a bit of damage but nothing too bad! At least we can say we have raced the motorplex, one off the bucket list!
