“Forest” is currently looking for his new home. Retired sound from racing in November 2023. Has had a 2 month spell and since been brought back into light work. Forest is a delight to have around the stables, easy to do everything with. Forest has a solid understanding of basic flatwork, with 3 balanced paces he is ready to go on with whichever discipline his new owner desires. Although he is quiet, he is still an off the track thoroughbred and would be best suited to a knowledgeable horsey family to ensure a successful future.

“NANNYS PRIMED” owned by Samantha Watt and trained by one of Universals resident show horse trainers Rhys Stanley

“Nancy” didn’t have the most successful racing career however did manage to win one, but found her calling in life after racing, pictured here over the weekend winning EA QLD SMALL SHOW HACK of the year, and also winning the feature class for OTT thoroughbreds!

We pride ourselves in education, re homing and competing of thoroughbred show horses, and Nancy sure is a perfect example of how versatile the thoroughbred “race” horse can be!

What a night to remember! Yellow brick 🧱 and Steady ready 🚀 bringing the 💰 home for 1st and 3rd in the inaugural king of the mountain, Queenslands richest provincial race worth $750k. Proudly spelled and pre-trained with us from yearlings we couldn’t be more proud of these two. Huge well done to team Sears Racing , training them to perfection! Congratulations to all other owners and connections. 🏆 🏅 🥇

Congratulations to Sears Racing and Ben Thompson as they combined this evening at Clifford Park Racecourse to take out the inaugural running of the $750,000 King Of The Mountain Horse Race!
