One of the most historical polo clubs in Victoria and home of the Flowerfield Cup

The Yarra Valley Club is made up of a committed group of players and non players from the Yarra Valley and surrounds. We have more than 20 playing members ranging from T to 3 Goal with a true club spirit. Teams compete regularly against other clubs, quite often bringing home the trophies.

Yarra Valley polo played in the Ambassador Cup in NZ. Incredible week of polo where John, Greg,Barry and Geoff were split amongst 6 teams on borrowed horses. Plus amazing dinners and boat trips to top get to know polo friends from around the globe.

Geoffs team pulled off the win over 3 days and Barry’s team pulled off the Wooden Spoon! Baz also awarded the Ambassador most fun player award!

Great polo, strong competition and new friendships at our Yarra Valley Polo Club Tournament this weekend Thank you to Amber and Rohan for the stunning grounds of Vallex. The winners were:
A Grade Flowerfield Cup - RGR/ Yarra Valley - Rob Ballard, Greg Browne, Inge Burke, Dorien Bulteau.
B Grade Coldstream Cup - Rathgormack- Ed Goold, Sam Gairdner, Rob Morran, Jock Mitchell
C Grade Coombe Cup - Hexham Headlands - James Thomas, Brendan Blake, Sam Kloe, Franz Spurgin
D Grade Lithgow Trophy - RGR - Inge Burke, Siobhan/Madeline, Carlie Trotter, Dorien Bulteau.

Wonderful day for the Norris Shield held at Simons beautiful property. Great country polo and catch up with locals. The Norris Shield was hotly contested and won by Vallex. Most Improved Player award went to Greg Brown. Thank you to Simon and Liz and the Yarra Valley Polo Club, Geoffrey Senior would have been very proud.

Fantastic Polo action including an all female match competing for the PINK ROCK Trophy, Polo Ponies Parade, meet the players, wooden horse competition and more. Join the Chukka Club with polo players, friends and spectators under the big marquee with catered lunch or book a private car park, invite your friends, bring a picnic and enjoy country polo at its best.
