That’s right! After 8 years of sitting on the side lines and planning her comeback, she’s getting the chance to jump back behind the wheel of a Standard Saloon this Saturday at Heytesbury Stockfeeds Simpson Speedway thanks to Barwise Racing!!

9️⃣ Some may know that back in the day Mum was the original number 9, which is the reason we knew we had to carry that number on.

So put it in your books 🗓️, and get on down to Simpson Speedway this SATURDAY night to check out what is going to be an awesome night of racing to finish off Simpsons season, with Standard Saloons, Street Stocks, and Wingless Sprints, it’s going to be a blast!!

In the next week there will be something big happening! Mark on your calendars 🗓️ Saturday the 11th of April to head on down to Heytesbury Stockfeeds Simpson Speedway, it will be a great night of racing to finish off the speedways season. With Wingless Sprints and Street Stocks, as well as Standard Saloons for the first time in a couple years!!🤫

What will we see?? Wait to see when the nominations get released!

📍Premier Speedway, Warrnambool
Once again we are here at Premier to give Matthew Symons Racing a hand in the 410 Sprintcar at the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic for the final night, learning the tools 🛠️ and setups!

Should be a great night of racing from all cars, with the SuperRods as the support class of the weekend.

We are down at Premier Speedway, Warrnambool tonight for the first night of The Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic!

Helping out Matthew Symons Racing in the Johnny Vogels 410 Sprintcar, learning the spanners 🔧 and setups of the ‘open wheel’ cars.

Made 13th in flight 2 of time trials, should be a great night of racing👌🤞

Even though we are not racing, come on down at Heytesbury Stockfeeds Simpson Speedway to checkout what is going to be a solid night of action packed racing across the 360/Ls Sprintcars that are looking to take home 10k to win, The SuperRods that are battling it out to get their names on the Snoopy Slam Cup, and the locally known Street Stocks are their to put on a show!

Today is a super special day for our number one driver!! (or so he thinks) Max’s final days of being able to race the junior sedan have come to an end, as he is 17 today!! A massive HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Max, and maybe some good luck to everyone on the road with him being less than a year away from his P plates (you’re gonna need it)

If you’re coming through Colac, be sure to stop in at Supercheap Auto to try and help him get a raise, as it’s currently the only way he would be able to afford a new race car🤪🏁

🙌END OF AN ERA🙌
Started the night off strong, rocking up to the track to find that the axle of our trailer had split and the right side hub and wheel was close to parting ways with the rest of the trailer… working on the trailer between heats, managing to weld the crack up as much as possible to make it back home! Thankyou to everyone that offered a hand to help get it fixed, the Roycrofts for lending their welder, and Hoses for offering to take our car home in the truck🙏

Heat 1: Started 4th on a rough grippy track, making my way to 3rd 🥉

Heat 2: Started 3rd on a ‘less rough’ track, washing high mid way through to try and avoid the ruts, and got sucked into the wall. Finishing 4th.

Heat 3: Started 2nd after they had worked on the track which made it smoother and a more comfortable ride, still just managing to drop back and cruise around and finish in 4th.

Final: Starting my last ever final in Juniors in 4th place, it was a great fast track, diving under Hudson within the first lap and gaining a position, but then dropping back again later. After a restart I was able to hold onto 4th place, until the last corner when Jake unfortunately had an issue with his car and dropped back allowing me to finish in 3RD POSITION🥉 ‼️

A massive thankyou to everyone who helped out and supported us tonight, congrats to all the other juniors: Flynn 🥇, Hudson 🥈, Jake, Taylah, and Lizzie! Thankyou for making it a great last night of racing 🏁

‼️The car will now get washed and parked up in the garage for the next owner. Share around to friends or family, whoever is interested is a great Junior Sedan!
