Last day for the season- a perfect morning, lots of people, 10km out and about for the last time for 3 months, all the boats in storage now.
Its been a great year for our club -quite a few medals at the Nationals and lots of new members who are bringing great energy to the club. Plus great coaching from Andy, Darren, Tim and JV, we are all the better for it.
A good club is the sum of its members, so a huge thanks to everyone. A chance for a sleep in on Saturdays. A bit sad but we will be back with new enthusiasm.

Our Xmas party last night, gr8 to see so many new faces as our club keeps growing. A good time was had by all, (some more than others, no names) as usual. Go team!!

The Coffs Coast Outriggers AGM today, the usual bunch of suspects re-elected the other usual bunch of suspects, who all did a terrific job last year, keeping us together emotionally and financially and contributing to a very successful paddling season, some fun activities and solid membership growth which has left our club is a strong position.
Also major thanks to all who helped with all the small but important jobs.
Chris is Prez, Gaz V is VP, Amanda is now Treasurer, Annie is Secretary, Pete, Trev, and Ceylena are on the committee. Thanx to all. Coaches will be decided at the paddlers meeting on 3 September.
Woo hoo - a new season is starting - bring it on.

Hi All who like or follow our Outrigger Page-
We have started a Facebook Group, Coffs Coast Outrigger Canoe Club. (the full stop shows it is the Group not the Page.)
We should be able to share ideas and information from other clubs and friends and post discussions more easily.
This page is linked to the group but to be able to better follow our community please join the Group.

Membership is automatic after one simple question, the admins should be the same.

I am still working this out so give it a go and let me know any problems. Post some of your favourite outrigger stuff -
something for us all to do while we wait for the weather to settle
