Our umpires wore a black arm band this weekend in honour of Andy from Nambucca Valley Lions Senior AFL Club

Many of our umpires knew Andy quite well, and we are all saddened by his passing. Our hearts go out to his family and the club 💚

This is an excellent opportunity for our new umpires to refine some of their skills around signals and positioning!

No footy this coming weekend, which gives our grounds a chance to dry out and recover after the recent rain. Thanks to everyone for your flexibility over the past few weeks.

With a free weekend ahead, all umpires are invited to join an online education session tomorrow at 5:30pm, presented by Luke Randall from Hunter Central Coast. Luke and I will be working together throughout the season to provide more consistent education opportunities for North Coast umpires.

This session will focus on match-day management and the use of cards, going into much more detail than last week’s online training. I strongly encourage both junior and senior umpires to jump on and hear from another experienced umpire coach.

Due to recent weather events we will be running an online training session tomorrow evening 5.30-6.30. This is for all junior and senior umpires in our league. An email has been sent out with the link to all registered umpires. If you would like to join and have not yet registered please let Montana know 🙂
