JS EPS TECH // JUST HIT THE RACKS 🔥

EPS foam is lighter and more buoyant than traditional PU, generating speed with less effort, while epoxy resin holds its strength and performance characteristics far longer than polyester. A precision centre stringer provides composed, controlled flex — replicating the torsional feel surfers know from PU construction, so the change to EPS doesn’t come at the cost of familiarity.

Designed by Tomo and Kelly Slater, the Mindcraft is the result of their quest to create the ultimate minimalist high-performance shortboard. Featuring smoother, more continuous, and more subtle bottom contours than Tomo’s past models, this design offers plenty of speed with a moderate performance rocker, a single-to-double concave, and a bump-wing round tail with five fin boxes.

BOARD OF THE WEEK - JS Surfboards XERO FUSION ⚡️. The Xero Fusion is a performance-oriented, user-friendly model for flatter faced waves. Positioned between the Xero Gravity all-rounder and the Sub Xero super groveller, this is JS industries latest small wave weapon to fill an essential role in any surfer’s quiver.

It’s been designed with the iconic and timeless Blak Box rocker with a new and updated blend of outline curves, modern rail shapes and a narrower swallow tail. This tail shape provides more outline curve from nose to tail enhancing the overall glide of the board in weaker conditions.

The new Xero Fusion features a combination of extra foam distribution throughout the rail line leaving the volume where you need it. However, the rails are pulled down to create the sensitivity you need in a board with plenty of extra foam hidden throughout.

This has been a winning combination for JS throughout a lot of our favourite boards in recent years. Xero Fusion is incredibly fast due to the Blak Box rocker providing instant acceleration, suited even more to small waves compared to the Xero Gravity.

Backhand Attack! Jackson Dorian

The Slater Designs DRK in I-Bolic 2.0 Technology is a refined evolution of the FRK, built for high-performance surfing in quality waves.

It retains the rocker, bottom contours, and fin placement that made the FRK a favorite, while refining the rail and foil for more balance under the chest. The wide point is also pushed slightly forward, narrowing the back half of the board and creating more sensitivity off the tail.

Introducing the 2026 Seaside Gallery by Rob Machado & Todd DiCiurcio, a special collaboration around the Pipe Master & California style icon’s best-selling groveler built in a full carbon construction. This is the board our friends always “borrow” to keep, and brings together the DNA of a fish with the performance of a shortboard. Rob says, “the Seaside is a board that will always live in my quiver, and Todd’s art on it makes it come to life that much more.” Todd shared on the collaboration, “synthesizing my painting ‘Hunt Your Way In Cut Offs; Prey For Nature’ through the Seaside Gallery evokes a sense of adventure and freedom, inviting surfers to ride not just the waves, but also the expression that enhances their experience on the bubble.”
