Many riders ask us about how to avoid "tensing up" in what they see as stressful situations. They want to develop more confidence, particularly in corners and in traffic.
A big part of avoiding the tension is knowing what the bike is going to "feel like" when you ask it to do something. For eg, how far can you lean, or, how to slow down mid corner.
Did you know that the first 2 weeks of the Police motorcycle rider training course is all about low speed skills? It's all about learning how to stay balanced. Then they build in speed after that.
Our new video attempts to help riders learn more about what their bike can does. The key is to learn at low speed so your brain has time to notice every little input and response.
We hope you find it interesting. The new Survive The Ride Video - https://vimeo.com/1171609742?fl=tl&fe=ec
