First training session for the holidays after a Easter weekend to work off some of that chocolate indulgence.πŸ˜…
There's nothing like a bit of kick work to get the enthusiasm going. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Well done this morning team.
I'm sure the Birthday Banana cakes made it worthwhile afterwards. πŸ˜€πŸŽ‚

The start of this new year has also meant there was a farewell for the SAS family.
We've recently said goodbye and good luck to three wonderful young women: Maddison, Willow and Eliana, who are now moving on to their next chapter of University and future life experiences.
As their coach from 2015 to now, I want to thank them and their families for their loyalty, friendship and support over so many years. Coaching is rewarding when you build long standing partnerships, watching them grow, and see them develop not only as swimmers but as strong capable young women.
Wishing these three all the very best in the future, From me and the entire SAS family.

Another NSW Country Championships done and dusted.
Well done to our 15 squad members- 9 representing Coffs Harbour Swim Club ( Jude, Lily, Gretal, Saul Bailey, Jack, Harrison, Finnley and Maddison ) and 6 representing Sawtell Swimming Club Community ( Wyatt, Savannah, Hayley, Owen, Jasmine and Hugh ).
Every swimmer performed strongly, with podium finishes, top-ten results, PBs, and more National and state qualifying times achieved.
As a coach it's rewarding to see swimmers reach their first Championships, and just as rewarding to watch those qualified for a couple of events a year ago now racing in seven. The growth in technique, race skills, and confidence has been pleasing, and its a privilege to see their hard work turning into real progress.
A shout out to River, who competed at the Swimming Gold Coast Preperation Meet over the weekend and delivered a great set of swims with plenty of PB's.
