What an absolute masterclass in footy! A huge congratulations to our incredible Year 11 and Year 12 boys team for putting on an outstanding performance at the Australian Football Loddon Mallee Region Finals. 🌟💪

The boys brought immense determination, fantastic teamwork, and top-tier skill to the field today, fighting hard through every single quarter. Their hard work has officially paid off, and we are thrilled to announce our champions:

⚾ State Baseball Finals Update! 🏆

What an incredible two days of high-quality baseball at the Intermediate (Year 9 and 10) and Senior (Year 11 and 12) State Finals! The talent, determination, and sportsmanship on display were absolutely outstanding. 🌟👏

Here is how the action unfolded:

🔹 Intermediate Division (Year 9 and 10)
There was a quick change of plans early on when Koonung Secondary College experienced some travel delays and arrived short on numbers with five players. To keep the competition fierce and fair, the tournament structure was successfully adapted into two pools of three teams! 📋️

Both Strathmore Secondary College and Maribyrnong Sports Academy showed incredible dominance, convincingly winning their respective groups to face off in a thrilling showdown. Ultimately, Maribyrnong Sports Academy took home the championship with a fantastic 4 to 1 victory in the final! 🥇🎉

🔹 Senior Division (Year 11 and 12)
The senior tournament was an absolute nail-biter from start to finish! 😱🔥 The competition was incredibly tight, featuring high-level plays throughout the entire day. With six elite teams hitting the diamonds, the field was so beautifully balanced that truly anyone could have walked away with the grand final victory.

A huge shoutout goes to the fantastic umpires for their excellent officiating across both days, and to the ground crew for the flawless setups. You made this tournament a premium experience for all our young athletes! 🏟️💯

🎾 State Tennis Championship Update! 🏆

What an excellent day of tennis at the Senior Year 11 and Year 12 State Championships! 🌟 We are incredibly proud of all the athletes who stepped onto the court today, showcasing not just incredible skill, but also excellent sportsmanship throughout the entire tournament. 🤝✨

A massive congratulations to Kadance from Springvale Rise Primary School for an extraordinary year of sportsmanship and dedication! 🥳👏

Kadance has shown incredible commitment, effort and leadership, always supporting her peers with kindness and demonstrating wonderful teamwork. Her personal achievements have been exceptional, representing her school in athletics, cross-country, summer sports and swimming. 🏃‍♀️👟

She qualified for the regional championships in both cross-country and athletics, and even competed at the state and national swimming championships! To top off an amazing year, Kadance was selected as the School Sport Victoria swimming team captain, highlighting her superb leadership and sportsmanship qualities. A massive congratulations to Daniel from Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School for his outstanding performance at the Western Metropolitan Region Swimming Championships! 🥇🌊

Daniel absolute flew through the water, achieving incredible first-place finishes in the 50m Freestyle, 50m Butterfly and the 4x50m Freestyle Relay. To add to his fantastic medal haul, he also secured second place in the 4x50m Medley Relay! 🥈👏
