It's been a busy week for Emma! She was interviewed last Friday morning on ABC Goulburn Murray and Shepparton, and then this morning on Triple M Goulburn Valley! 🤩

CONGRATULATIONS to Emma Corrin on her selection to the 2026 Australian Canoe Marathon Team! She will compete in the 2026 ICF Canoe Marathon World Championships in Gualeguaychu, Argentina from 22-25th October! 🤩

Congratulations to the paddlers that have been selected for the Victorian Canoe Marathon Team to represent VIC at Nationals in Canberra on 10-13 April.

On Sunday the 22nd of March 2026 Hunter, Jack and Emma competed in the 2026 state marathon double championships.
Hunter and Emma paddled together in the 9km general class and came 1st out of 1 in a time of 45:27. Hunter and Emma lapped the other competitors that started with them.
Jack paddled with Daphney Bradley from Goldfields in the 9km general class and came 1st out of 1 in a time of 50:53.
Jack and Daphney came second overall out of all the doubles that competed in the 9km general that consisted of under 14s, under 16s, and under 18s. The double that came first overall we Hunter and Emma.

It was a great day/weekend of racing at Geelong Canoe Club for Cobram Barooga.

On Saturday the 21st of March 2026 Hunter, Jack and Emma completed in the 2026 State Marathon Championships in Geelong.
The check in was at 8:30am and the racing started at 10:00am.
Hunter was in the first start start with the open men's and his under 18 competitors. Hunter came 4th out of 6 in the men's under 18 K1 21km in a time of 1:57:38.
Emma was in the second start with the open women's, under 16 women's and her under 18 women competition. Emma came 1st out of 8 in a time of 1:36:49 for 17km.
Jack was in the 6th start and challenged himself by racing in the under 14 men's instead of the under 12 men's. Jack came 3rd out of 6 in a time of 56:04 for 9km.
It was an amazing day of racing, and these three Cobram paddlers really pushed themselves!

On Friday the 20th of March 2026 Hunter, Jack, Emma, Beau, Louise, Robert and Kristy traveled to Geelong Canoe Club.
Hunter, Jack and Emma all competed in the 2026 state short course marathon championships.

Hunter came 4th out of 4 in the men's under 18 K1 3.4km short course in a time of 17:06.
Jack came 1st out of 2 in the men's under 12 K1 3.4km short course in a time of 18:57, Jack beat second place by 4 minutes!
Emma came 1st out of 6 in the women's under 18 K1 3.4km short course in a time of 18:18.

It was a great evening of racing for these 3 Cobram paddlers.

On Saturday Hunter paddled at the Frank Harrison Interstate cup hosted by Mitta Mitta Canoe Club. It was an amazing day of racing! Hunter got off to a great start!
Results:
Hunter paddled 26km in 1:54:51 to finish 7th out of 8 paddlers in Div 2.

On Sunday Hunter, Jack, Daphne and Macca paddled the 16km. Hunter and Jack were in a K2, while Daphne and Macca were in K1s.
Results:
- Hunter and Jack came 2nd out of 11 boats in a time of 1:04:00 in Div 6.
- Daphne came 1st out of 2 boats in a time of 1:16:33 in Div 7
- Macca came 1st out of 1 boat in a time of 1:16:35 in the chaperone Div.

It was a great weekend of racing!

Emma and Lou represented CBCC at the 2026 GP2 at the Sydney International Regatta Centre.
Emma raced in K1 200, K1 500, K1 1000, K2 500, K4 500.
Louise was the starter for the weekend.
