Fsc round 3 was a difficult weekend😅
All that rain really didn’t help my chances this weekend
In quali i got p2 before sending it into the barriers and filling the kart with gravel, after that it started to rain. I finished heat 1 and 2 in 3rd behind Henry then Cody in the 2nd the next day we were out quite early in the order so another wet track, to finish behind Abel
In heat 4 after getting into 1st (and maybe jumping the start) I went into the gravel again, followed by Abel and Henry. In the final I was in 3rd about to overtake Cody for second when Henry got past me to 3rd.
Overall not a great weekend

Round 3 of the sgkc club championship went quite badly.
In qualifying I came 3rd on a very slippery track, then for the next 2 heats I didn’t have good enough laptimes to stay there, and dropped down to 4th. In the 3rd heat I had a bad start and went down to 6th but I managed to get them back to go to first but going through Tyson’s on the last lap the front sprocket cover fell of and hit my in the hand along with my engine dying. We swapped over to the fast engine in the final and I gained 5 tenths and 7kph down the straight to finish 3rd but 4th overall
I think the reason for the other engine being so slow is that we had to replace all of the parts after the piston failed last time at southern

Whyalla fsc round 2
Whyalla was quite a fun weekend if it wasn’t for the flies
In practice one my rear axle was loose so that put me about a session of learning the track behind everyone else, anyway in qualifying I was p5, but only 1.1 tenths behind so super competitive for that session
Heat 1 crash at start and drove off track, finished p6
Heat 2 nothing much happened I got a good start to 3rd and stayed there
Heat 3, similar to the second heat not much happened until about 3 mins left when I hade possibly the best battle I have ever had with Abel Dutton Motorsport #78 but I got 3rd behind him
In heat 4 I started 4th and finished 3rd, I didn’t get any chances to pass because I wasn’t quite fast enough
Final, started 4th got to 3rd and with 1.5 laps to go I passed Abel down the inside of t1 for second and managed to defend it and keep it!
