Looking for something to do on a Friday afternoon this winter?

Did you know that Bingo runs every Friday from 1–3pm at the Cobden Bowls Club? It's a great way to get out of the house, meet some locals, and have a bit of fun.

The Cobden Bowls Club is a fantastic community in its own right, and this is a perfect excuse to head down and see what it's all about.

🔵🟡 Saturday Pennant - Preliminary Finals!

2 different results last week with Div 2 going down in what was a tight contest most of the day with lorne running away in the end by 20 shots to advance through to the grand final. Beaten by a much better side on the day.
Div 4 on the other hand went into there game as underdogs in an elimination final and with a great team performance they got across the line by 11 shots. Well done bowlers!

Here are the sides for our Div 2 and 4 prelim finalists. Both teams are playing at colac city beside eachother so let’s be sure to get plenty of support their to watch there games!

🔵🟡 Saturday pennant - FINALS TIME!

Congratulations to Div 2 and Div 4 onto making the finals this season! Div 2 secured a double chance by finishing second and Div 4 had a great win to scrape into 4th spot! The season has unfortunately ended for Div 3 after being in the top 4 most the season and just falling short in the last round to finish 5th. A great season nonetheless.

Div 2 play at colac lakes under the dome with a 12:30 start against top of the ladder Lorne, and Div 4 are at colac city 1:00 start against Colac 5. Both will be great contests and we encourage all members and supporters to get along and watch some great matches!

Practice as normal from 5:00 onwards Thursday evening, $5 bbq

🟡🔵Saturday pennant teams - round 14 - 7/2/26

Final round of Saturday pennant before finals kick off. Division 2 have cemented their spot in the finals and with a win this week against second placed Colac 2, they could just pinch a top 2 spot! Div 3 are home this week and take on second placed Birregurra 1. A win at home will all but guarntee them a place in the finals, but with a loss they will be relying heavily on other results. Div 4 have come from the clouds and are knocking down the door of a finals finish. Currently 5th, a win over 4th placed Derrinallum may be enough to push them into the top 4 in what will be a tight finish on the overall ladder come Saturday evening.

Good bowling all and “Go the Cockatoos!” 🟡🔵
