NSW Title – Lake Liddell Speed bowl

Heat 1: Started P4, finished P3
Heat 2: Started P7, finished P3

A Main: Started P5. Unfortunately, a radiator hose failure caused coolant to cover Zac and the car, forcing an early end to our night.

While it wasn’t the outcome we were aiming for, there were still some positives to take from the heats. We’ll regroup, take the wings off, make the necessary adjustments, and come back ready for tonight.

Something a little different than Speedway
Last night Zac had Master builders Victoria regional apprenticeship of the year awards and he he received a certificate of excellence for the second year cabinetmaking and timber technology .
So proud of this this kid, keep up the good work

Last night we headed to Heytesbury Stockfeeds Simpson Speedway for Round 6 of the Formula 500 Stampede Series.
We had a slow start to our night, but eventually found our feet and had a really successful night!

On Saturday we headed down to Laang Speedway Club for the Formula 500’s Victoria State Title!
We picked up a heat race win early which set up our night!
Unfortunately while running 5th in the A main having a great time battling with some of the best our fuel filter broke off and put an end to our night.

Last night we raced at Borderline Speedway for the fifth and final round of Speedweek!
Our heat results put us in 8th to start the A Main, which unfortunately ended with motor damage causing a fire mid way through the race.
This was a dissapointing result for our team after all their hard work throughout our first speedweek in senior 500’s.
Overall a really successful night for our team gaining confidence and experience.
